Design Chaos

Many programmers, most programmers don't work on design and programming. Well ok I take that back most hardcore programmers, I mean we have Flash we have the Web so more people are picking up both.

Well I am talking about how design and programming are so distinctly different from each other. Design without functionaly is just an ordement that doesn't do anything sits around a looks pretty and functionality without design is just downright depressing or can be.

Take Linux for example its amazing, but its not designed... but that IS what makes Linux so great, I mean there are standards and rules that can be for the better in the end its against the nature of design, it's design chaos.
